Bring your innovative, creative leadership style to develop exciting recreational activities that both stimulate and provide entertainment for all residents. You will help them celebrate life with community-based fun and social activities and bring them a sense of belonging in so doing. From sparking joy to fostering a vibrant community spirit, your innovative ideas and compassionate leadership will make a lasting impact.

  • Great pay: $38.90/hr + Super + penalty rates for nights & weekends + NFP salary packaging (save up to $18,550 per year!).

The requirements | What you’ll bring
No matter your role, it takes a real love of caring, a willingness to jump in and do the work, and a genuine desire to make a difference. As a Leisure & Entertainment Team Leader, you’ll also need:

  • A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • A Creative spark to develop programmes and activities  
  • Engage with your team, communicating with them, empowering them, challenging them and giving them opportunities to grow 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Experience in leisure or entertainment (a plus but not essential—we’ll guide you to greatness!).
  • Empathy and passion for making a difference in older people’s lives
