Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and evaluate group and individual activities tailored to the residents' needs, abilities, and preferences.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the safe and successful execution of activity programs.
Document residents’ participation and feedback to refine activities and improve care.
Support and supervise volunteers, leisure staff, and students, fostering a team-focused environment.
Regularly review and adapt activities to ensure they remain engaging and relevant to residents’ evolving needs.
Provide direction and training to volunteers, ensuring their skills align with program needs.
Ensure high standards of care, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
AQF Certificate III in a relevant field and at least 560 hours of in-service experience.
Proven ability to engage and support older adults in a residential care setting.
Experience in coordinating leisure and lifestyle activities or volunteer services.
Excellent communication, organisational, and computer skills.
Understanding of the Aged Care Act, National Aged Care Standards, and recent industry updates.
