Machine Learning Engineer

Skillfield is growing—and we’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer who’s passionate about building real-world machine-learning solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience under their belt, who’s ready to take their skills to the next level. You'll be part of a collaborative team, solving business problems with machine learning models and contributing to delivery across industries like telco, utilities, and beyond.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver production grade ML inference, training and monitoring pipelines from development through to production
• Build and validate machine learning models to solve real business challenges
• Collaborate on model optimisation, evaluation, and deployment
• Support data preparation, wrangling, and feature engineering tasks as needed
• Work with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) to build scalable solutions
• Engage with clients—presenting insights and contributing to technical delivery
  

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience in Python and ML libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, XGBoost, pandas)
• Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS
• Understanding of ML lifecycle—from training to deployment
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
• Comfortable in client-facing settings or keen to grow into one
• Bonus: Experience with MLOps tools (e.g. MLflow, Airflow, Docker, Databricks)
