Located in Rose Bay overlooking Sydney Harbour, Kambala is an historic, contemporary, and vibrant independent day and boarding school for girls, welcoming students from Nursery and Pre-School to Year 12.

The role:

  • Maintenance Officer.
  • Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm.
  • Start date ASAP (negotiable).
  • Works throughout the year incl. school holidays.
  • Wide-ranging basic/intermediate maintenance work across the campus.
  • Identify and respond to safety risks and hazards.
  • Assist with room/facilities set up for events, exams etc.
  • Tools supplied.
  • Uniform supplied.
  • Occasional voluntary after hours and weekend overtime may be available, paid at applicable penalty rates.

The ideal candidate:

  • Some demonstrated experience in different types of general maintenance work.
  • Working knowledge of standard machines and tools, including their uses and repair.
  • Specialist trade skills (e.g. carpentry, joinery) highly-regarded but not essential.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Organised, with the ability to prioritise.
  • Focused on safety.
  • Friendly, energetic, and a good verbal communicator.
  • Physically fit and comfortable performing manual work.
  • Keen to be part of our school community.
  • Willing and able to hold a valid Working With Children Check.
  • Holds a valid Drivers License.
