Maintenance Officer

This position is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in all facets of property maintenance for Belmont Private Hospital which is a busy 185 bed health facility.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Current QLD Driver's License

Desirable Qualifications:

• Assist in completion of general repairs and maintenance throughout the hospital under the direction and supervision of the Maintenance Manager

• Assist in the completion of scheduled preventative maintenance

• Assist and supervise contractors

• Assist in maintaining log books and records

• Report worn and damaged equipment

• Assist in all other aspects of maintenance as required

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff

• Flexible working attitude

• Ability to work autonomously and show initiative in solving basic problems to achieve work targets

• Ability to prioritise tasks

• Friendly, courteous manner and professional appearance
