The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Roof Plumber to join our team and take on a maintenance-focused role. If you live locally or are planning to relocate to the Murwillumbah, NSW area, and service Tweed, Byron, Ballina, and the Southern Gold Coast, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role:

This role is designed for someone who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of their projects. You’ll be responsible for maintaining real estate properties, strata complexes, and rental properties. Your tasks will include conducting job inspections, quoting, ordering materials, and completing work on-site, with a primary focus on leak repairs and maintenance roofing.

Most jobs will be small enough for you to handle solo or with a small team, allowing you the autonomy to manage the projects from start to finish. Larger jobs will be scheduled for the team, so you can focus on the individual aspects that you excel at. You may also complete small jobs on other projects as needed, and during quieter periods or when you're not busy with maintenance work, you will assist the team with our other roofing projects.

You’ll also work closely with property managers (with admin support when needed) to ensure top-quality service and communication.

This role requires someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and is comfortable managing their own workload. You’ll need to be confident in your technical abilities and be able to quickly learn how to use job management software and communicate effectively via email. While training will be provided, you must be comfortable using computers and willing to adapt to new technologies to manage tasks efficiently.

What We Offer:

• Relocation Assistance / Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 after completing your 3-month probation period.

• Top Industry Pay: $45–$50 per hour, full-time position.

• Take-Home Vehicle: A fully equipped vehicle will be provided after completing your 3-month probation period, unless you are highly suitable for the role, in which case a vehicle may be provided to you from the start.

• Work-Life Balance: Enjoy regular hours from 7am–3pm (NSW time), with the option for earlier shifts (6:30am–2:30pm) during the summer months. This allows you to make the most of your afternoons and avoid the heat.

• Bonus Structure: We offer a KPI-based bonus program that rewards you for meeting specific targets, allowing you to earn more based on your performance and hard work.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for roof plumbing and a commitment to delivering high-quality results

• Strong technical skills with a focus on precision and maintaining high standards

• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and solve problems proactively

• Ability to effectively manage time, work independently, and take initiative

• Quoting, estimating, sales or pricing would be highly regarded but not essential

• Driver’s license and White Card

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work autonomously

• Working at heights and EWP ticket are highly desirable
