We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, working on earthmoving and heavy mobile mining equipment. This is a full-time, permanent role based in a regional area of Australia. We are committed to hiring Australian workers first, but for highly skilled applicants where a local candidate cannot be found, we are prepared to offer visa sponsorship.

Task & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair earthmoving and heavy mining equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and haul trucks.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Dismantle and reassemble components such as engines, transmissions, and fuel systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with a team of mechanics, electricians, and engineers to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
Qualification & Experience
- Trade Qualification – Certificate III in Engineering (Diesel Fitting) or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in servicing and repairing earthmoving equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy machinery (preferred).
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with Australian standards.
