Maintenance Handyperson

Silverband Lodge, located in the spectacular Grampians / Gariwerd National Park, is on the lookout for a hands-on and passionate Maintenance / Handyperson to join our team. We are a leading group accommodation and outdoor recreation venue, creating lifelong memories for hundreds of guests every week.

A sibling business to the award-winning Cave Hill Creek, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and respectful work environment. This role is perfect for someone who is proactive, efficient, and committed to maintaining our venue to the highest standard.

About the Role:

• Maintain buildings, plant, vehicles, grounds, and outdoor recreation equipment
• Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, emergency systems, etc.)
• Supervise trades and contractors on-site
• Keep detailed maintenance and compliance records
• Assist with event setups, development projects, and general camp operations
• Participate in emergency management training
• Contribute to a culture of workplace safety and child safety

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade qualification (building, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.) advantageous but not essential
• Strong skills with general workshop tools, tractors, and chainsaws
• Manual Driver’s License (Heavy Rigid License a bonus)
• Current First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to work at heights and perform physical tasks
