About the role As Major Giver Partnerships Manager, you will develop, build, and manage a highly-valuable portfolio of prospective and current donors who are capable of giving at levels of $10K to $1M+ in order to meet Compassion's annual revenue goals. Reporting to the Major Giver Team Manager, you will identify, cultivate, and grow strategic relationships that enhance Compassion’s profile, influence, and impact.
What will you do?Champion the cause of vulnerable children by advocating for their needs and upholding child protection in all activitiesServe as a partnership manager in a professional fundraising environment to develop meaningful philanthropic partnerships and achieve revenue goals established by leadership.Lead the full donor engagement cycle with a focus on qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of a complex portfolio of highly valuable donors to fund a wide range of program initiatives.Creatively craft and customise unique and tailored engagement plans targeted to high-value donors for the purpose of generating revenue, increasing retention, identifying prospects, and acquiring commitments.Drive engagement and build strong relationships with portfolio donors through regular personalised communication, personal visits, phone calls, presentation of proposals, impact reports and other, including hosting and presenting at events and leading international trips to deepen understanding of Compassions mission and generate support.Collaborate with executive leadership, board members, and key stakeholders to activate new donor relationships and secure major giftsContribute to strategic initiatives by developing high-quality documentation and supporting department-wide goals
