Job Summary:
This is a key role within the finance team, where you will work closely with various departments to provide management accounting services. Your primary responsibility is ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial data to support high-quality management reporting and analysis.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s financial performance and operational efficiency. You will provide insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations that drive business decisions and improve overall profitability. Additionally, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust budgeting, and forecasting while helping the company navigate financial challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities.

You are a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and have a proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing controls frameworks. With a keen sense of commercial acumen, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to business partnering, you actively challenge the status quo to deliver value.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly financial reports, highlighting key metrics and trends.
Prepare and journal deferred revenue recognition.
Perform variance analysis to compare actual results with budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance across the company, departments, customers, and products.
Develop the annual budget and quarterly forecasts while enhancing budgeting and forecasting processes.
Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger by reviewing and reconciling accounts regularly.
Process payroll for company employees, including related payroll accruals, journals, and tasks (e.g., payroll tax).
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring they are well-documented and properly approved.
Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Utilise financial software and tools to optimise and streamline accounting operations.
Assist the Financial Accountant in responsibilities on an adhoc basis.
Key Requirements:
CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent).
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
2+ years’ post-qualification experience.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience in driving process improvements and implementing controls frameworks.
Strong commercial acumen, problem-solving abilities, and business partnering skills.
