An opportunity is now available for an experienced Management Accountant - Hotel Finance to be part of the Corporate Finance team.
The Role
This role is responsible for overseeing the financial management, reporting and compliance of Quest Pre-Franchise entities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, tax lodgments, payroll and audit while supporting budgeting, forecasting and operational decision-making.
Working closely with the Hotel Finance Manager and Finance Manager – Quest Apartment Hotel, the role involves preparing reports, reviewing financial transactions and assisting with accounting transition for incoming and outgoing franchisees.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of MYOB, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate
As you will be working with a large and diverse portfolio of properties, it is essential to be highly organised and have an efficient manner of working. You will have the ability to work autonomously, but also be collaborative in your approach to working with multiple stakeholders. You will have a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a managerial accounting or commercial financial analyst role.
You will have:
Experience as Accountant or Assistant Accountant, ideally within a hotel finance role, with approximately 5 years of relevant experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of office systems and procedures.
Proven knowledge and experience in being able to build and manage internal and external relationships
Well-developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office, general ledger packages and financial reporting systems.
Strong working knowledge of MYOB highly regarded.
