We are looking for a creative and talented Communications professional to join our Marketing & Communications team as a maternity leave cover.  

You will be a key member of the Communications team, taking a long-range view to provide communication solutions that deliver real value, mitigates risk, and achieve stakeholder objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement internal communications strategies in conjunction with senior managers and stakeholders, ensuring organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.

  • Design and deliver communication plans against the overarching strategy, mapping the cadence of key internal communication activities, and planning communication roll out and engagement initiatives for functions and/or enterprise-wide delivery.

  • Author and develop change communication activities for large-scale business transformation initiatives in line with organisational objectives and transformation goals

  • Manage the roll out and implementation of relevant internal communications and transformation programs and coordination with onsite communications representatives across all sites.

  • Provide advice on developments throughout the organisation, either face-to-face or through regular written communication

  • Support the development and training of team members to meet business unit objectives within agreed budgets.

Qualifications

  • Requires a University Degree in Communications, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 8 years prior relevant experience (when a University Degree is held).

  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics to drive and support employee communications programs and change management initiatives.

  • Comprehensive direct experience in managing projects or processes within area of responsibility.

  • Experience in delivering tactics associated with communication strategies

  • Experience in delivering internal and external communication activities as part of strategic campaigns
