This role is fulltime with ordinary hours falling between 7.00am - 4.00pm. Weekend and holiday work is essential. The Toast Team values family and balance and approaches the roster with flexibility. This role will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the cafe, manage communications between front and back of house, and provide leadership to the customer service team.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the cafe
- Ensure high quality customer service
- Manage supplier relationships, inventory and stock levels
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Manage Point of Sale, online ordering and all technical systems
- Be reponsible for daily reconciliations, reporting and cash handling
- Create, implement and keep update, all workplace procedures
- Manage community engagement activities
- Manage functions and catering
- Train and supervise baristas and front of house team members
- Manage staff performance
- Create and manage staff availability and the roster
- Assist with kitchen operations as required
Qualifications & experience
- At least two years' experience in cafe, restaurant or hospitality leadership role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Barista experience is a plus
