This role is perfect for someone who loves the buzz of creating memorable hospitality experiences, has a flair for marketing, and thrives on bringing entertainment to life!
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to become a custodian of this historic Northern Beaches watering hole, which first opened in 1886 and has evolved from the Narrabeen Hotel, the Royal Hotel, and the Royal Antler Hotel before becoming the beloved Narrabeen Sands we know today.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead by example to ensure every guest has a seamless and enjoyable visit across our bars, bistro, gaming, accommodation and function spaces.
- Assist in creating, promoting, and executing engaging events and entertainment programs that keep our guests engaged.
- Support the Venue Manager in hitting business goals, managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving profitability.
- Inspire and train a passionate team to deliver exceptional service and build a motivated, high-performing group.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and licensing compliance.
- Manage cash handling, reporting, and stock control with precision.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 years experience in a hospitality role within a quality pub environment.
- A proactive leader who thrives under pressure and takes a hands-on approach.
- Someone with creative ideas and a passion for engaging the community through events and promotions.

Outstanding communication skills and the ability to motivate and work collaboratively with the team.
