About Us

We are Zambrero. Australia's largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. We are a quick-service restaurant that offers tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with home-made guac and other goodies. For you, that means you will always work with yummy fresh ingredients that won’t leave you smelling like you just came from work. What you’ll do

Assisting the Area Manager, our Manager will take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for setting the highest standard in all areas of the restaurant including the customer experience, the workplace culture, and the financial results. 

  • Managing your team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, rostering, and resolving any employee issues including grievances

  • Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard.

  • Ordering of stock from various suppliers

  • Office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll, and reviewing policies

  • Compiling, preparing, and maintaining profit and loss statements, budgets, and cost controls with regard to cost of goods and labour

  • Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room, and general restaurant

  • Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety

What you’ll bring
