Job description:
Position Purpose
The Responsibility of a Maritime Security Guard (MSG Level 4) working at a security-regulated port is to protect the
integrity and safety of all established maritime zones where approved Maritime Security Plans are enforced. This must
be done in compliance with MTOFSA rules and regulations, the approved maritime security plan, and the site traffic
management plans.
• Take reasonable care for your health and safety and the health and safety of other people in the workplace.
• Comply with health and safety policies and procedures, including the investigation and reporting of hazards and
incidents to your manager.
• Comply with any reasonable instruction related to health and safety.
• Do not interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interest of health and safety.
• Understand and reinforce the requirements of HSE to keep our people safe.
• Meet company HSE requirements.
Mandatory Qualifications
• Maritime Security industries background
• Security industry
• Experienced as an MSG or working in a busy Gatehouse role.
• Previous CCTV monitoring experience will be highly regarded.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Ability and experience writing detailed incident reports.
• Experience using access control systems.
• Experience working in a team environment.
