Trident Services are Seeking Casual Maritime Security Officers

This exciting new opportunity with Trident Services Australia is ideal for energetic and motivated customer-service Security Officers to join our Maritime Security Team.  

Maritime Security Officers are responsible for the delivery of high quality, customer-focused security services while creating safe and memorable travel experiences for travelers and visitors transiting through Darwin, the tourism gateway to where living in paradise is a part of everyday life.

THE POSITION

We are currently on the lookout for multiple experienced and interested Maritime Security Officers! 

These casual roles are based at the the Darwin Cruise Ship Terminal, Stokes Hill Wharf. 

To be considered, it’s essential you have excellent presentation and customer service skills as well as a current NT Security License.

These positions are casual with frequent shifts and good hours!

The primary responsibilities however, not limited to:
 

• Providing high quality front line customer service and support;
• Risk identification and issue resolution;
• General Maritime Security Guard duties (including administration tasks)
• Working within a team environment
• Ad hoc duties as required

To be considered - these qualifications & experience are essential

• First Aid certificate
• Current MSIC license you will need to be eligible to apply for this.
• Current Drivers' License & transport
• Current NT Security license
• Full work rights
• Excellent customer service skills
• Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
• Intermediate computer skills
• Professional personal presentation
• Proven experience in conflict resolution
• Good administration skills
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time - shifts up to 12 hours
