ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate marketing and events specialist that is seeking to complement their event planning expertise with broader marketing experience. The position provides strategic planning and support to one of the specialist delivery areas of the Institute and will work with the team members within their department and the Information Centre Department to ensure information from the delivery areas is shared and that key marketing and recruitment activity is coordinated across the Institute.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the accuracy of the Institute’s course information
  • Provide specialist marketing advice to delivery areas
  • Enhance communication between staff and management
  • Provide efficient and effective customer service
  • Support the enquiry to enrolment process across the
  • Coordinate events such as Student Ambassador Program, Institute School Tours Program, Open Day, Experience Days and Carers Practitioners Day
  • Provide administrative and specialist marketing and communications support to the Coordinator and Manager as required

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE:

  • A relevant Degree with relevant work experience; or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and significant relevant
  • Marketing administration assistance experience preferably within the Education or Events
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of event management and marketing planning, preferably in an education
  • Experience in utilising online database and marketing tools (including CRM) to update, maintain and communicate
  • Highly developed organisational and administrative skills and ability to work with a variety of software suites including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, e-mail and databases).
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) and work well with stakeholders at all levels of
