POSITION TITLE: Marketing SpecialistPOSITION TYPE: Full TimeLOCATION: Mornington Peninsula SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Marketing Manager ABOUT THE JOB The marketing specialist will assist in continuously enhancing and expanding the marketing efforts of Kustom Marketing and their clients across all channels. They will partake in managing and growing multiple client accounts within Kustom Marketing, with a focus on key clients in the building industry MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct research to understand local competitors and identify potential clients. Assist with content planning, ideation, and copywriting. Create engaging content for blogs, social media, and other platforms. Design and execute email marketing campaigns (eDMs), including briefing external agencies on copy. Manage and grow social media campaigns across platforms. Oversee community management, including responding to DMs, engaging with comments, and reposting tagged stories.Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Organise and participate in customer-facing events to foster brand engagement.Develop sales plans and create materials to pitch products for Kustom Marketing brands. Brief and work closely with external PR and marketing agencies to ensure alignment with brand goals. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics to track campaign success and performance. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Previous experience working in a similar role executing organic and paid social media campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Understanding of SEO, Facebook ads manager and interpreting the reports. 10/10 organised, self-motivated, and confident to express your own ideas. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Adobe software (InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, and the Google versions of that). Photography and Videography skills a bonus, but not necessary.And an eye for nice things, putting together new campaign briefs or seeing leads convert into new clients.
