KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Develop and maintain a master Program schedule that aligns with organisational priorities and resource availability.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate planning and execution of project timelines.
- Utilise scheduling software to track project progress and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Implement best practice in scheduling methodology to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, communicating changes to stakeholders effectively.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving project workflows and timelines.
SELECTION CRITERION - Knowledge of program management processes and procedures, particularly the ability to run and administer third party application systems designed to support the PMO.
- Proven abilities and experience in the development of detailed, complex program schedules, delivery of training and processes to support the use of established schedules.
- Practical experience working with technical teams delivering digital systems, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to model the CIT cultural traits and ACT Public Service values and signature behaviours. Knowledge of and the ability to work in accordance with CIT policy and principles, respect, equity, and diversity (RED), work health and safety (WHS) and workplace participation.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and diverse business relationships, including with senior stakeholders, through collaboration, engagement, responsiveness, and influence.
- Demonstrated excellent written communication skills including the development and maintenance of project and associated program analysis documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - Relevant qualifications and experience such as PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).
- 5+ years of experience in scheduling or project management within a complex organisational environment.
- Proficiency in the use of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar), strong command of MS Excel for data analysis and ability to use data visualisation tools for presenting scheduling insights.
