MC Truck Driver

Established in 1974, MACS Australia Group is a proud West Australian family-owned company that delivers high-quality construction/industrial, maintenance and demolition services to municipal, commercial, and resource clients throughout Western Australia.

Due to growth and success, we are currently seeking a multi skilled HC Truck Driver to join our multi disciplined business. 

This role is based in Canning Vale WA however this position is to service work all over Perth and the occasional trips to Regional WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of our prime movers and rigid trucks to perform:

• Crane counterweight deliveries

• Material Deliveries

• Earthmoving plant loading, unloading and deliveries to and from site.

Multi skilling is core to the role and the following duties may be required depending on capability:

• Dogging and Rigging for mobile cranes

• Assisting with Mechanical Repairs

• Crane Operating

Training is offered by the company for the above duties to ensure the employee has an excellent career path and a variety of skills that will ensure that they have job satisfaction.

The successful candidate will experience high levels of utilisation and be required to work overtime depending on capability, flexibility, and adaptability to the following:

• Customer hire enquiries

• Multiskilling

• Can do attitude

• organisation and readiness to respond to operational requirements.

• Ability to work autonomously

• Ability to work away overnight to perform regional trips

Qualifications:

• Valid WA MC/HC Drivers’ License

• Previous experience transporting equipment

• Hold a White Card

• Dogman/Rigging or Crane tickets desirable
