About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team at GTO Energy Services' in Perth, WA. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the mining equipment and machinery used in our operations. What you'll be doing

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in power station equipment and machinery

• Carry out routine maintenance and servicing tasks to ensure optimal performance

• Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to inform your work

• Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to deliver effective and efficient solutions

• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant trade

• Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a mining or industrial setting

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
