Mechanical Fitter

Workforce International are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join our clients maintenance team on day shift, at their Red Hill Quarry.The successful candidate will be an essential part of their operations, helping to ensure plant reliability and efficiency through preventative maintenance and quick response to breakdowns.

Hours: Monday - Friday (5:30am - 3:30pm with available overtime)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled servicing and inspections on conveyor systems and fixed plant assets

• Complete pulley replacements, bearing change-outs, and general mechanical repairs

• Assist with plant start-ups and react swiftly to breakdowns to minimise downtime

• Perform jaw and cone crusher change-outs and repairs

• Support with scrapper installations, maintenance, and fixed plant inspections

• Carry out HME repairs as required

• Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance with site procedures

Requirements:

Must Have -

• Confined Space Entry certification

• Working at Heights certification

• Current C-Class Driver’s Licence

• Own reliable transport

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and national police check

Desirable -

• Forklift (LF)

• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)

• Non-slewing Mobile Crane (CN)

• Basic Rigging (RB)
