Mechanical Fitter

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for mechanical Fitter to join our team providing maintenance services across our Defence bases in Queensland. Here you will play a key role in completing corrective maintenance requirements where you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

Provide support to other trades and services, operating as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated outcomes rather than as an isolated trade resource
Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and any required Zero Harm training
Participate in and contribute to condition assessments during the course of duties.

What You’ll Bring

Certificate III in engineering
Drivers Licence with no restrictions
High Risk work License Boom- Type Elevating Work Platform
Current First Aid & CPR/LVR is preferred
Working at Heights Qualification is preferred
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
