About the job:

Duties will include maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

• To perform repair work to cranes, Installations of cranes, hoists and materials handling equipment and from time to time other equipment in a professional and tradesman like manner.
• Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and sub assemblies to produce machines and equipment.
• Checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments

About YOU:

• High Risk Card EWP, OHS white card
• Certificate of proficiency
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Effective troubleshooting and problem solving ability
• Must be well organized and show effective time management skills
• Must have a current manual Drivers License
• Must be safety conscious and the ability to promote a safe environment
• Must be available to work overtime and travel to remote sites when required
• Sound Mechanical aptitude
