Reliable Conveyor Belt is seeking applications from Mechanical Trades to fill the roles of Mechanical Trades at our Newcastle Branches. 

This is a Permanent Full-Time role per week with a competitive Salary package including:

Reporting to the Branch Manager as a key and valued member of the Operations team, you will work on customer sites, including but not limited to mining, quarry, smelting and power generation.

Part of your role will include:

• Complete day to day maintenance activities 
• Ensure plant and equipment is fit for purpose 
• Supervise and coordinate belt splicers, trainees, and trades employees
• Focus on Pulley and Bearing maintenance
• Assist and work with Belt Splicers
• Liaise with clients 
• Direct, mentor, and lead a team
• Inspections and audits

We are seeking applicants with the following attributes:

• Must have a Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering - Mechanical, or Engineering - Fabrication
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Dogging & Rigging Tickets
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Great consultation and communication skills
• Commitment to the highest WHSE standards
• Ability to supervise work teams
