Tara Forklift Services is expanding, and we’re excited to open our newest branch in Truganina, VIC. We're looking for experienced mechanics and auto electricians to join our growing field service and workshop teams as we establish a strong presence in this booming industrial hub.

Forklift experience is a plus, but not essential. We welcome all candidates with mechanical or auto electrical experience and offer training and support to the right applicants.

What We're Looking For:

• Trade qualification in mechanical or auto electrical

• Strong diagnostic and repair skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Solid written and verbal communication abilities

• Great organisational skills and time management

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing and ensuring equipment is safe and reliable

• Responding to breakdowns and diagnosing faults

• Troubleshooting and repairing a variety of material handling equipment

• Maintaining safety standards during all repairs and service work

• Working onsite and in coordination with our Service Team

• Dismantling and reassembling forklift components as needed

• Completing service reports and documentation accurately and on time

• Supporting the Service Manager with additional duties as required

• Identifying and managing hazards to ensure workplace safety
