About the opportunity:

Position: Medical Education Coordinator – WBA Program

Vacancy: Fixed Term Temporary full-time, 2 years

Location: Medical Education & Workforce Services, Townsville University Hospital

The role will work with the existing Medical Education Coordinator to manage and coordinate orientation, education training programs, and prevocational medical education workshops within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

This role is expected to maintain a high level of knowledge of regulations of the AMC, PMAQ, Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and Medical Officers Certified Agreement (MOCA), to ensure that THHS fulfils the requirements of MOCA and to provide evidence that prevocational medical officer training is in accordance with relevant standards.

  • Salary range: $90,832 to $100,071 p.a. (AO4)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
