About the role

Western Sydney Wanderers FC is seeking a talented and experienced Membership & Ticketing Manager to join their passionate team. As the Membership & Ticketing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the club's membership and ticketing operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our loyal fans and supporters. This is a full-time position based at the Wanderers Football Park, Rooty Hill.

What you'll be doing

Membership

  • Lead the development and definition of the Club’s membership programs, recognising global market trends in sport and entertainment in the creation and innovation of membership products

  • Oversee and pursue best-in-class customer service of our members and fans

  • Administer the creation & fulfillment of Membership Packs, ensuring they are aligned with the expectations of members and fans

  • Work closely with Marketing and other departments around communication plans and execution to drive match day attendance and attendance at other club events

  • Ensure two outbound servicing calls are made to each member, each season as a key point of engagement

  • Execute on a quarterly NPS survey amongst the member base, acting on relevant insights as required – with a focus on achieving a positive NPS at all touchpoints

  • Grow, manage and maintain the club membership database

  • Develop and implement membership strategies to optimise acquisition, re-acquisition, renewal and retention of members

  • Manage and monitor membership budgets & revenue targets

  • Manage the development and implementation of a membership loyalty program

  • Oversee the execution of Wanderkid & other Grassroots Football programs

  • Administer the Membership Representative Group, ensuring multiple touchpoints and engagement with members of this group

  • Work closely with the Events Specialist to create memorable and engaging Membership Events outside of Football matches to drive loyalty and engagement

Ticketing & Match Day 

  • Lead the development of our ticketing programs pertaining to ALM & ALW match days, ensuring they comply with Club and APL regulations

  • Work closely with Marketing and other departments around communication and marketing plans and execution to drive ticket sales and achieve revenue KPIs

  • Work in collaboration with the club’s partnership and marketing departments to identify and actively pursue group sales opportunities to reach KPI's

  • Distribution and management of all internal & external ticketing requirements

  • Manage the Membership & Ticketing operation each home game, including Ticket Box sales, Membership Activations, Wanderkid program & Member Experiences

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in a membership and/or ticketing management role (Sporting experience not essential)

  • Strong understanding of customer service and fan engagement principles

  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of ticketing and CRM systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful membership and ticketing strategies

  • Working with Children's check

Unique Criteria

  •  The Role will be required to work at all WSW hosted events. This will involve unique work hours including weekend work and may involve travel
