Secondary Teacher – Short-Term Contract
Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Contract Dates: 28 April – 23 May 2025

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher for a short-term, full-time contract commencing 28 April 2025 and concluding 23 May 2025. The ideal candidate will bring experience in Science and Mathematics, along with a commitment to fostering successful learning outcomes in a positive, well-managed classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver comprehensive learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

• Address students' varying intellectual, emotional, and physical abilities.

• Foster positive and effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Create a safe, orderly, and supportive learning environment.

• Implement behaviour management strategies consistent with school policies.

• Accurately assess, record, and report student achievement.

• Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher interviews, and other school events.

Desirable Attributes

• Experience teaching middle school years in Science and Maths

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

• Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• A commitment to fostering the Catholic and Dominican values of the school.
