MIG Welder | Container Repair & Fabrication
Location: Sunshine, VIC
Pay rate: Up to $38 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
Ongoing role with potential for permanent employment

Synaco is currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy and well-established team based in Sunshine. Our client is a national leader in providing modified and custom-built container solutions for a range of commercial and industrial clients. This role offers long-term stability and the opportunity to work in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

Key responsibilities:

• MIG welding and fabrication of metal containers
• Container maintenance, repair, and modifications
• Buffing, decal removal, and preparation work
• Supporting with painting and forklift duties as needed
• Adhering to workplace health and safety policies
• Keeping the workshop clean, tidy, and organised
• Accurately completing job sheets and daily logs

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience with MIG welding
• Minimum of 3 years in a metal trade or fabrication environment
• Ability to work to high standards and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team
• Forklift licence, trade qualification or WHS/First Aid certifications are a bonus
