The Role:
We’re on the lookout for an experienced, creative, and effortlessly cool Mixologist / Bartender Supervisor who can create an experience unlike any other. You’ll bring a solid background behind the bar, know your aromatics, and be passionate about mixology and your role behind the Bar. You will assist in leading and coordinating food and beverage operations ensuring quality service and standards are maintained to deliver an exceptional and memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to!):
Assist in achieving the food and beverage budget for all F&B outlets (restaurant, bar, functions)
Display strong leadership skills to enhance our service culture and uphold our commitment to hospitality, ensuring safety requirements and cleanliness standards are rigorously followed.
Promptly and professionally addressing guest feedback.
Develop and train staff on F&B standard operating procedures, ensure they are well-versed with the menu, promotional offers, service standards and safe working practices.
Motivate and collaborate with your team to achieve outstanding results, whilst cultivating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Lead by example during peak service hours, collaborating with department heads
Turn challenges into opportunities, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
Create and serve high-quality classic and signature cocktails with attention to flavour balance, presentation, and customer preferences.
Provide exceptional customer service, offering drink recommendations and ensuring a memorable bar experience.
Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Collaborate with team members and support smooth bar operations, especially during busy shifts.
Stay informed on mixology trends, ingredients, and responsible alcohol service practices to continually enhance skills and offerings.
Now, who are we looking for?
2-3 years’ experience as a leader in Bartending / Mixology
Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management (desirable)
Passion for training and developing strong motivated teams
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
Commitment with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Excellent communication, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Impeccable grooming and presentation standards
Food Safety Certification, RSA and Australian working rights
