Mobile Crushing - Excavator and Loader Operators

Lima South Quarry is a family owned business operating for over 20 years in North East Victoria. We are rapidly growing with approximately 120 staff. Along with operations from our quarries, we also provide offsite crushing and screening services via our mobile crushing and screening teams throughout Australia.

The Role
Accommodation available to operators that are working away from their usual place of residence. Due to ongoing growth we are looking for multiple experienced Excavator and Loader Operators to carry out duties across our crushing and screening business. The roles are long term permanent roles in and around metropolitan Melbourne. These duties include but are not limited to - feeding the crushing & screening plants, stockpiling, loading trucks, basic repairs and keeping the site clean and safe. As an Operator you will need to be flexible to work within a quarry environment roster.  

Excavator Operator Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety rules are being followed at all times
• Feed crushing plant as part of a team of operators to meet production schedules.
• Set up and run the crushing and screening plant.
• Operate loader/excavator as part of the crushing team
• Carry out basic repair and maintenance work to the plant & equipment.

Required Attributes, Skills & Experience

• RII tickets will be viewed as highly desirable
• Previous experience working with Loader/Excavator (30 tonne and above)
• Must have operators tickets – Loader or Excavator
• Red/White Card
• Medium Rigid Truck Licence – desirable.
