Mobile Hose & Lubrication Technician

The Role As a Mobile Hose & Lubrication Technician, you will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions to our customers. This is a hands-on role where there is travel to sites within the metro Melbourne and surrounding areas, to replace hoses in a breakdown situation, or complete new installation work on greasing & fire suppression systems. This position will come with hands on training if required, a work vehicle, laptop and phone will be supplied as your tools for the trade. Depending on your location this role could be based out of one of our Melbourne branches Sunshine or Campbellfield. This is an integral role in the business and may include but not limited to:Assembly of all types of hose and fittings. This will involve use of a cut off saw, crimping machines, internal swaging machine, reusable hose fitting machines.Fabrication of hose ends, adaptors, etc. This will involve use of a lathe, tube bending tools, silver brazing and other sundry machining operations.Welding would be an advantage. MIG, TIG, ARC but not essential.Pressure Testing of all types of hose assemblies.Competently repair lubrication, hydraulic and refueling equipment.Ensure that work is carried out to the highest quality level.Ensure continuous improvement to service levels and look for better ways to do things.You will assist in on-site installation/service work, deliveries etc, as and when required.To be considered for this position you will ideally have: · Field service experience in a mechanical background· Customer focused· A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship, team player· Understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices· Be well presented, and medically fit for the task· A current Driver's License· Must have full Australian working rights.
