Tasks & responsibilities

General servicing and repairs
Repair and service of vehicles such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups
A high standard of workmanship & attention to detail
Must have own hand tools
Repair and maintenance of vehicle engines
Test the vehicles after repairs to ensure that vehicle is safe to use
Detect and diagnose the mechanical faults

Qualifications & experience

Trade qualification preferred
Have at least three years of experience
Experience with all aspects of automotive repair, including engines, transmissions, brakes and suspension.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Attention to detail with a focus on overseeing and maintaining high standards of quality.
The ability to work well to deadlines.
High standard of mechanic workmanship and attention to detail.
Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues.
