About the Role - Motor Mechanic
Jax Tyre & Auto is coming to Butler and opening in May 2025.
We are seeking an experience Motor Mechanic who would love to work in a brand new workshop and team, also would be looking for progression in the future.
In this role, you will maintain and repair light vehicles through identifying and rectifying faults, as well as following specific vehicle manufacturer guidelines to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.
As we at JAX work as a team, there also will be occasionally to carry out fitting, balancing, repairs and general servicing of tyres and wheel alignments as needed. Your goal is to enhance the company, its products and services, optimizing customer safety and satisfaction.
Your day-to-day tasks would include
Repairing and maintaining vehicles
Services general and logbook
Carrying out wheel alignments, wheel balancing and other wheel/suspension related services when required
Identifying mechanical faults as well as issues with vehicle stability and tyre wear
Fitting, rotating and servicing tyres when required
Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles
Safely operating hoists
Conducting road tests as required
About you
Hold relevant licenses and certifications required to operate as a motor mechanic in WA.
Have 3+ years of experience as a qualified motor mechanic.
Diagnostic experience highly desirable
Experience working on various makes and models
Exhibit excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Be physically fit and able to manage daily tasks.
Demonstrate knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WHS) practices.
Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Available to work Saturdays as required
MUST have current Australian manual driver's license.
