Position Overview: As an Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our operations by transporting goods safely and efficiently to their destination. You will be responsible for driving medium rigid (MR) trucks, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and maintaining a high standard of customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate medium rigid (MR) trucks to transport goods to various destinations
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, following proper procedures and protocols
• Adhere to all transportation regulations and safety standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any issues or concerns
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, trip logs, and deliveries
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
• Handle delivery documentation and obtain signatures as required
• Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed, hand unloading is required
• Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid MR driver's license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MR truck driver
• Clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols
• Strong knowledge of Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine coast area
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
