Position Summary:
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans and account strategies to drive revenue growth and profit for PSG product lines. They will have 5 direct reports, will report to the General Manager and form part of the Senior Leadership Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute PSG brand sales plans and growth strategies.
Develop and execute an annual revenue plan, including providing quarterly, semi-annual and annual formal business report outs.
Partner with channel development, sales and business development team to develop and execute strategic marketing and growth plans for territory/region.
Develop a pipeline for future revenue and build growth strategies and long-term sales plans.
Identify new business and customer opportunities and develop strategies for supporting customers.
Develop and build customer relationships by ensuring the sales team understands the market, customer needs and competitors value propositions.
Lead sales forecasting and budgeting processes and identify opportunities to increase margins.
Lead the systematic sales management process for the Australian sales team identifying growth opportunities, tracking leads and analysing wins and losses to identify areas for improvement.
Represent the company at trade shows.
Work closely with Marketing and Engineering in the development of new products and promotional programs.
Maintain excellent communications externally and internally.
Keep sales leadership informed on important matters that require immediate action or attention.
Develops a deep understanding of key markets and economic factors affecting PSG results.
Qualifications / Experience:
10+ years of experience in direct customer sales with an emphasis on engineered sales solutions
Prior experience managing a sales or account management team highly preferred
Experience working with large, complex accounts
Specific Skills: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)
Specialised Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: CFSP, CWS or WQA certified a plus
Travel Requirement is 50% (domestic)
