NDIS Manager- Large STA/SIL Facility (Strong Management Background Required)

Are you an experienced leader ready to manage one of Melbourne’s largest STA/SIL sites?
Carestays is a 19-room residential facility, far larger than standard 3–5 bedroom group homes — and we’re looking for a House Manager with genuine management-level leadership experience.

This role is not suitable for support workers or team leaders stepping up for the first time. We're looking for a candidate with a proven history in NDIS service delivery, staff management, operational oversight, and regulatory compliance — ideally at scale.

About the Role
You will lead a large support team and coordinate a complex roster to ensure 24/7 quality care and operational excellence. You’ll mentor Shift Leads, work closely with our General Manager, and set the standard for what high-capacity SIL support can look like.

You will be expected to:

• Lead a team across multiple shifts and disciplines

• Drive compliance and quality at an operational level

• Manage systems, not just people

• Create structure, not just respond to it

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and staff performance

• Ensure full NDIS compliance and audit readiness

• Deliver high-quality, person-centered care

• Manage rosters and resolve staffing issues

• Handle documentation, health/safety checks, and financial reporting

• Provide after-hours support (on-call)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• 95% roster coverage

• 100% compliance in audits

• ≥90% client satisfaction

• Full training and performance review completion

• Regular safety checks and fire drills

What You’ll Need

• Diploma or Cert IV in Disability, Management, or related field

• Proven experience managing SIL, disability, or aged care services

• Strong knowledge of NDIS standards

• Confident leadership and delegation skills

• Great communicator, calm under pressure, highly organised
