NDT Technician - Kalgoorlie

About the Role

Due to continued growth and demand for our NDT services within the goldfield’s region, AME are currently looking for experienced self-motivated NDT Technician to join our Kalgoorlie Team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation that is well regarded in the WA Mining industry. This is a residential role, and candidates must reside in Kalgoorlie.

Accountabilities

• Perform a range of NDT procedures on (Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection & Penetrant testing), on mobile and fixed plant.
• Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with industry codes, standards, and OEM specifications.
• Produce high quality detailed reports documenting findings, procedures, and recommendations. 
• Review of engineering design documentation, MDRs and plant registration documentation.
• Project management of NDT projects.
• Perform routine equipment calibration and maintenance to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Stay current with industry advancements, techniques, and tools to enhance NDT capabilities.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must possess the following skills and attributes:

• ISO 9712 Level 2 Certification in UTT, MT, PT.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience conducting Non-Destructive Testing on fixed or mobile plant in mining or heavy industrial environments.
• Working at Heights ticket.
• Working in Confined Spaces ticket.
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
• An effective communicator, both in written and verbal communications.
• High attention to detail and strong report writing skills.
• Current WA driving licence.

Remuneration: $110K - $120K

Remuneration package will depend on individual experience, certifications, and skill set.
