About the engagement: Green Light have an exciting opportunity for a high calibre, experienced Network Architect to join one of our delivery partners based in Perth. This position will provide high level of solution design and consultation, working closely with internal stakeholders to successfully uplift the existing environment into the cloud. The role will focus on working as a Network Architect on a large hardware deployment across 200+ locations so expertise across Cisco Enterprise environments and delivering multiple network projects is essential. The Network Architect will contribute to the high-level design of network architecture, standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms and systems. The role requires a forward-thinking individual with the ability to speak with business and operational personnel regarding new and existing technologies and making recommendations when required. Responsibilities: Provide expert advice and analysis to key stakeholders on the network of an existing solutionFunction as the Subject Matter Expert and provide guidance to ensure outcomes are achievedExperienced delivering network solutions across similar hyper-converged environmentsPlan & solution high-level architecture for an ongoing projectAnalyse and assess security incidents and escalate to appropriate internal teams for additional assistanceFacilitate implementation of designated framework and relevant procedures Required: 10+ years professional experience as a Network ArchitectTechnical SME for cloud internet gateway, out of band, firewall, load balancing, WAF, NTP, proxy & remote access design,Proven experience planning and delivering significant network solutions and integrating into large infrastructure projectTechnically agnostic across multiple platform / technologiesIn-depth experience of hype converged solutions into cloud-based environmentsExperience providing high level business leadership and strategic advice to stakeholders.
