About the role

Evergreen Life Care is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Aged Care Service Employee to join our team in West Gosford, NSW. In this part-time role, you will provide compassionate and personalised care to our valued residents, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing during the overnight hours.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

• Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team

• Ensuring a calm and comfortable environment for residents during the night shift

• Documenting care provided

• Collaborating with the broader care team to deliver a high standard of holistic care

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents

What we're looking for

• A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification

• Previous experience working in an aged care or healthcare setting, particularly during overnight shifts

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and person lead approach

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow care plans and procedures

• A commitment to upholding the rights, dignity and independence of our residents

• A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to respond to the changing needs of residents
