My Word Health is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our passionate team. The successful candidate can choose to work in Albury and/or Wangaratta! Opportunities to include work from home days and rostered days off are available.

The role of an Occupational Therapist at My Word Speech Therapy is to provide assessment and intervention to a paediatric caseload by working closely with families, schools, and other health professionals to meet client goals. We care about connecting people to their world through participation in daily activities and are committed to providing high quality, professional services. Services can be provided in our clinics, the child's school, the family's home, or out in the community. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Key Workers, Social Workers, and Allied Health Assistants helps us the provide a wide service option to better serve our clients. We care about connecting people to their world and are committed to providing high quality services in rural areas so that no child is left behind, no matter where they live.

The Remuneration

If you have...

  • Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current professional registration with AHPRA
  • Current NSW and VIC Working With Children Check
  • Valid National Police Check
  • Current Drivers Licence and car
  • NDIS mandatory worker training certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes and utilise evidence-based practice
  • Professional, warm and empathetic approach to clients
