Office Administrator

Role Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and friendly Office Administrator to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our Canberra office. This role is critical to maintaining a positive work environment, supporting day-to-day administrative functions, and helping our team stay focused and productive. Key Responsibilities Manage front desk operations, greet visitors, and handle general inquiries.Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.Support HR and finance teams with admin tasks such as onboarding, filing, and scheduling.Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and company events.Ensure the office is well-maintained and a safe, welcoming environment.Liaise with building management and external vendors.Assist with document management, data entry, and internal communications. Requirements Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or similar role.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, etc.A proactive attitude and ability to multitask.High level of discretion and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a tech, AI, or startup environment.Familiarity with basic HR and finance processes.
