ONSITE OFFICE MANAGER

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced onsite office manager to run the daily operations of our new project as well as ongoing projects within our building and construction business.

The role includes but is not limited to:

• Liaising and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure construction processes run smoothly and efficiently
• Liaise with apartment purchasers’ onsite visits
• Acceptance of deliveries of building material 
• Co-ordination of  timesheets 
• Liaise with office personal and onsite subcontractors to ensure resolutions of any onsite problems
• Managing the construction sites and onsite office to ensure effective production 
• Ensuring all equipment is accounted for and maintained
• Greeting potential clients and directing them to the appropriate personal 
• Contribute to the planning and review of onsite office services
• Reporting daily to director of the company
• Play an active role in hiring, promotions, payroll, training and supervision of current and future employees
• Arranging onsite and via zoom meetings with various professionals
• Continual review of the processes and procedures of the company ensuring its compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, government legislation, policies and procedures
• Take initiative to create a flinging system both manually and digitally 
• Following up on sub-contractor timing of onsite work in accordance with the building program

Prerequisites

• Min  2 years experience
• Qualification – no less than diploma level in management

The preferred candidate will have had:

• Onsite office managerial experience in a building and construction company
• Knowledge of building materials
• Knowledge of a second language is beneficial

The role may require:

• Occasional Saturday / overtime work
