Operational Admin Officer - Bank of China (Sydney CBD)

The role is a Two Year maximum term contract role as Operational Admin Officer in our Operations Department.

You are mainly responsible for variety of operational administrative functions covering Anti Money Laundering work, system user accounts administering, all sorts of core banking system administering, and some back office operations.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

AML related work 

• OCDD (Ongoing Customer Due Diligence)

• Perform blacklists screening in system toward customer information

• Make Due Diligence investigation and keep their records

• IFTI (International Fund Transfer Instruction) report

• TTR (Threshold Transaction Reports).

System user account administering

• Assist the development of proper IT system account users’ authorities designation in accordance with the Bank’s applicable policies/procedures

• Perform the setting up and changes of system user accounts

• Perform the periodical review and changes of system user accounts and report the results.

Customer services 

• Answer customer telephone inquiry and handle customer service tickets

• Assist updating customer service Q&A.

Operational administration work

• Administer banknotes, financial transaction voucher and important blank documents’ filing and transfer

• Report dormant accounts and deregister company accounts with ASIC

• Perform maintenance of filing and deal with all sorts of communications via email, fax, or telephone

• Assist preparing managerial reports

• Other Clerical work.

Candidates should essentially have:

• Fundamental knowledge and experience toward variety of Banking products

• Tertiary degree or above, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Business or related disciplines

• Basic computer literacy skills including MS Office

• Sound written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
