We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of production efficiency and quality.
Position Overview:
As the Operations assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. You will lead a talented team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and packaging.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, minimizing waste and managing costs.
- Oversee the receiving and inspection of all kitchen deliveries, ensuring quality and accuracy of orders.
- Manage the dispatch of food and supplies to various kitchen stations and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a team-oriented culture.
- Collaborate with the production and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations and product consistency.
- Develop and update production schedules in line with customer orders and seasonal availability.
- Monitor and maintain food quality standards, conducting regular quality checks.
- Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or similar role in a food manufacturing or high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience in ordering, receiving, and dispatching kitchen supplies and food items.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
