About the role
Join Our Team as an Operations Manager and Lead the Delivery of Excellence in Primary Health Care
As the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of comprehensive primary healthcare services at Moreton ATSICHS clinics. In alignment with the IUIH Model of Care, you'll lead business planning, administration, and financial management, ensuring top-tier service delivery to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. This dynamic position also involves leading teams, ensuring the highest standards of health service quality and safety, and driving performance to meet key performance indicators—all while maximizing Medicare outcomes.

Elevate Healthcare Excellence as an Operations Manager at MATSICHS

In this pivotal role, you will:

  •  Lead a high-performing team by managing MATSICHS Practice Managers to achieve operational and strategic goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Clinical Services Manager, ensuring seamless service delivery and excellence in client care.
  • Take on special projects as directed, playing an active role in driving key initiatives across the organization.
  • Oversee the operations, performance, and profitability of MATSICHS clinics, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and top-tier service delivery.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop MATSICHS Practice Managers and staff to build a cohesive, results-driven team.
  • Lead the delivery of tailored training and development programs for Practice Managers and Practice Support Officers, ensuring continuous professional growth.
  • Manage clinic performance and implement strategies aligned with the IUIH Model of Care, delivering holistic and culturally appropriate healthcare services.
  • Ensure effective care coordination and case management, providing seamless services across a wide range of health and wellbeing programs.
  • Uphold a clinical governance framework that fosters reflective practice, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement in quality and safety standards.

 About you

  • Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
  • Current Criminal History Check
  • Current Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card) – required prior to your commencement
  • Current Disability Worker Screening Check (QLD Yellow Card) - required prior to your commencement
