What this opportunity involves:
JLL is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support a portfolio of retail shopping Centres across Melbourne. This full-time role involves efficiently managing day-to-day operations, coordinating maintenance and repairs, assisting with tenancy processes, and ensuring compliance across multiple retail properties.
Working primarily from an onsite office in Toorak with visits to the centres as required, , you'll play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations, managing budgets, and liaising with retailers and contractors to ensure the portfolio's success. You’ll be part of a collegiate, close-knit team that values collaboration and mutual support. We welcome initiative and fresh ideas, offering you the autonomy to make meaningful contributions while providing the support you need to succeed.
An overview of the role:
• Provide efficient operational support for the portfolio
• Coordinate maintenance and repair works, including arranging quotes and managing contractors
• Assist with tenancy delivery processes and compliance matters
• Manage incidents and conduct liability incident reporting
• Prepare and monitor OPEX budgets, seeking opportunities for savings
• Liaise with retailers and maintain key registers
• Ensure best practices for auditing and centre requirements

• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with MRI or similar accounting packages (preferred)
• Previous experience in Retail Operations (preferred)
