Operations Supervisor

This role of Warehouse Supervisor includes elements of cost management, inventory controls and safety management, as well as the day-to-day tasks associated with the effective running of the warehouse.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Receiving deliveries and unloading containers
• Receiving orders, picking, assembling and packing
• Maintenance of goods within the pallet racking
• Warehouse supervision of small team (up to 10)
• Formal, documented reporting of all safety incidents.
• Team development and training – ensure employees know their role and daily objectives.
• Developing and streamlining processes where needed

Skills and experience

• Must have people management skills – experience in leading 8+ staff.
• Forklift licence essential.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining a safe working environment
• Previous warehouse/heavy lifting experience
